How to Keep Dogs Cool?
To activate the cooling, follow three simple steps:
Wet it under the tap or by immersing it in water
Squeeze the excess water
Tie it around your dog’s neck, making sure that the widest part of bandana falls on your dog’s chest.
Re-wet as necessary. Bandana will stay cool for up to 5hrs. To increase the cooling capability, make sure that there is air flow around your dog.
The dog cooling bandana should lay on the neck with the widest part of the bandana touching the dog chest. This is because the chest is one of the most efficient areas to cool down a dog. We think this dog bandana is the ideal cooling product as it only covers a small portion of your dog’s body so there is no risk of making your dog too hot if they dry out.
How do Dogs Cool Down?
Our dog cooling bandanas have been designed for cooling your dog effectively in warm and hot weather. Dogs deal with heat by panting as they are unable to sweat. To help them cool better, the most efficient areas to cool are the dog neck, chest, belly and paws.
Important: On hot days always have drinking water available for your dog, never leave your dog in a car or any other place without ventilation, exercise your dog in the early morning to avoid heat stroke. If you see any signs of overheating please act swiftly.

These dog cooling bandanas are an original product designed by Dogsnug, born out of our love for being outdoors with our dog Kai. Like most whippets, Kai’s body is very lightly padded and therefore not designed to cope with heat so well. They are made by hand in our workshop in London, UK.
I am very impressed with the cooling bandana, it is of very light material and stays damp very well. It is easy to fit on the dog. Our dog really likes it, you can tell it cools them down.

This product is great! It looks 10 times nicer than a standard cooling bandana, my Shiba Inu loves it. I went for a Medium and it fits great. He doesn’t try to bite it off like other bandanas, so it must feel really comfortable for him. 10/10!
