How to wear a Dogsnug T-Shirt?

Our dog clothes are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to suit your dog just like all our dog coats and dog fleeces. You can utilize the same size charts, and please note that our styles and sizes names have changed in order to simplify the measurements. Please be aware that different dog clothes in the UK use different sizing so it is important to follow our own Dogsnug charts

A few examples:

Sighthounds

If you have bought Dogsnug Italian Greyhound clothes, Greyhound jumpers, Whippet coats or jumpers from us in the past, the style name has changed from Deep Chested to SLEEK; and the sizes are the back length in inches, so for example, a previous XL Deep Chest Lurcher coat is now a SLEEK 27"

Dachshunds

If you purchased our Dachshund coats and jumpers previously, the style name has now changed from Long & Slim to just LONG, and a previous S Long & Slim for a mini dachshund jumper is now LONG 15"

Classic

If you have one of our Classic dog clothes for cockapoos or spaniels, french bulldog clothes or pug clothes, please notice that the style name has changed from Barrel to BROAD, so for example a previous XL Barrel Chest for a standard Cockapoo is now a BROAD 19".

The back length reflects the measurement of your dog, not the length of the jumper.

Covers The Belly

Our dog t-shirt covers the belly and the back. This is ideal if your dog has allergies and skin conditions. It will protect your dog from itchy bellies from grass and other summer allergens. It will also act as a sun barrier to avoid sunburn.
These vests are often used as dog surgical suits because they are great suits for when dogs are recovering post surgery. It prevents them from reaching the stitches. Suitable for both female dogs and male dogs. You may even be able to do without those dreaded cones of shame!

Dog Cooling

On a warm day, this product can be used as a cooling jacket for dogs, just run it under the water tap and wring out the excess. Your dog will be thankful for it.
Effective cool coats for dogs like our t-shirt will aim to cool your dog in the chest and belly; these are some of the most important areas for cooling, as dogs are unable to sweat. Our vests use evaporative cooling, and therefore need air flow around the dog. We prefer this method of dog cooling vest instead of gels and other cooling techniques as we feel it is the safest for our dogs.

Calming Effect

If you have a nervous dog this jumper performs beautifully as a dog anxiety vest. If your dog suffers from separation anxiety or is scared of loud noises this dog t-shirt may help them relax. Anxiousdogs often calm down if they feel the sensation of being hugged. The vest is very soft and has 3% elastane which makes it very stretchy whilst retaining comfort.

Snuggly

Ideal for whippets, senior dogs and other hounds such as dachshunds that feel the cold quicker. The vest is much lighter than a fleece but cozy enough for those months when it’s not cold enough for a dog winter coat but the hounds are still shaking. Perfect as a dog pyjama if your dog manages to lose the blankets in the night.

Machine washable

Let’s get real, we’re busy people and dogs love to roll on yucky stuff, which is why all Dogsnug products are machine washable at 30ºC.

By this we mean:

We only make products that we have tested to be comfortable and to not get in the way of dogs playing, running and just being dogs. So we use flat seams, soft and stretchy materials and cut our shapes to fit snuggly and make the jumpers comfortable. Our whippet Kai is a strict tester, and will give you the foul eye and wriggle out anything he feels is below his high standards. He has given our dog jumpers his highest rating.

We chose high quality fabrics, trims & processes to make our products last longer and clean well. All our products are designed with the busy dog guardian in mind. All products are machine washable and easy to get on/off the dog. We want the Dogsnug product to last you a long time.

We carefully design and pattern cut our products to suit the amazing variety of shapes of dogs. Our range of 3 shapes is produced in a generous set of sizes. This said, if your dog falls between sizes, we are more than happy to alter our jumpers to perfectly match your dog
